How Do I Get Rid of The Annoying Balloon Notifications In Windows XP QUESTION: I use my own firewall solution so have the XP firewall shut off. XP installs a little icon in the lower left corner next to the time. It is in the shape of a red medallion with an X in it. How can I remove it from there.
